The Handicap Wizard had a number of winners yesterday at Will Rodgers, including in the 2nd, the 3rd, the 6th and 10th races, as shown below. In the $50K Highland Ice Stakes in the 9th, run at 6f on the dirt for three-year olds colts and geldings, the program’s third selection, #2 Oil Money, won at 18-1. The horse was well undervalued compared to his 11.27% win probability, where his E1 and E2 estimates of 40.8% and 26.2% projected strength in a sprint.

The program had a nice result in the 9th race at Will Rogers today, the $50K Wilma Mankiller Stakes at 6f on the dirt for three-year old fillies and up, with its second and third selections in #3 Wholehearted and #10 Drip Brew making up the exacta at odds of 2-1 and 9-1. #2 Estilo Feminio was the favorite in the race at 3-2, but did not hit the board. Two other horses had less odds than Drip Brew. The $2 Exacta (3-10) paid $80.

 

The Handicap Wizard Turf Program had a nice result in the 6th race today at Gulfstream, a $50K claiming race at 1 mi. on the turf for three-year-old fillies. The top selection was #9 La Rusia at 16-1 with a 19.55% win probability followed by #7 Fancified at 8-1 with a 16.39% win probability. In the race, #9 La Rusia led for much of the race until the final stretch, when Fancified came from off the pace to pass him in the center of the track.  Even though the program had the win and place horses reversed, the $2 exacta paid $199.80.
