Race 6 at Santa Anita, Sat., Mar. 1

The program had a nice result today in the $300K G2 San Felipe Handicap at Santa Anita today, run at 1 1/16 mi. on the dirt for three-year-olds, having the superfecta order correct with its first four selections of #2 Journalism at 3-1, #3 Barnes at 3-5, #4 Rodriguez at 7-2 and #1 Mellencamp at 20-1. The $2 tri-fecta paid $24.12 and the $0.10 superfecta paid $2.09. Journalism with strong stats in his favor, like 66.4% SPD win estimate and 89.1% LP win estimate, put away the heavy favorite, Barnes at 3-5, down the stretch in a fast time of 1:42:24.

Santa Anita Results, Fri., Feb. 28

On the last day of February the Program had fine results at Santa Anita. The program had winners with its first selections in five out of the eight races followed. These were in the (#2 Jai Ho – $4.20), 2nd (#4 Discrepancy – $3.00), 3rd (#3 El Rey Rey – $10.60), 5th (#3 I’m a Bad Boy – $4.00) and 6th (#3 Captain Willis – $13.80). The ROI for these eight races was 123%. Additionally, the program had the tri-fecta order correct with its first three selections of #3 Captain Willis at 5-1, #8 Empress Lorraine at 3-2 , #9 Hoser Satrapa at 5-1 in the 6th. The $2 tri-fecta paid $234.60.
