The Turf Program had a nice result in the 4th at Del Mar today, an $80K OC at 5f on the turf for three-year-olds and up, where the program had the tri-fecta order among its first three selection of #2 Yellow Card at 5-2, #4 Book Smart at 5-1 and #6 Patron D’Oro at 13-1. Although Yellow Card projected first in final speed with a win estimate of 43.4% and was the class in the race with an “in the money” win percentage of 70.%, Book Smart best in E1 and E2 with win estimates of 64.2% and 76.9%. The $2 ex. paid $47.20 and the $0.50 tri-fecta paid $80.90. This result again shows the strength of the Turf Program, which filters and calculates only turf data. Nice win for Mike Smith.
