The Track-IQ report for Santa Anita had an excellent result in the 7th race at Santa Anita, a $30K claiming race at 6 1/2f on the turf for four-year-olds and up, having the exacta order cold with its Primary selection of #6 Enter the Dragon at 9-1 (versus 2-1 theoretical odds) and Secondary selection of #4 Proudly Hailed at 7-2 (versus 5-2 theoretical odds). Enter the Dragon veered inside and came up along the rail in the final sixteenth to get the upset. The $2 exacta paid $78.80.
The Track-IQ program for Oaklawn had a very nice result in the 6th race at Oaklawn today on the day of the Southwest Stakes, having the exacta order correct with its Tertiary selection of #3 Search Party at 4-1 (versus 7-1 theoretical odds) and its Secondary selection of #7 Newton Pike at 27-1 (versus 5-1 theoretical odds). In the race, Search Party surged down the middle of the track late to get the win with Newton Pike in close pursuit. The #1 ex. paid $95.40. This result comes on the back of the program having the exacta order correct in the previous race, the 5th, cold with its Primary selection of #12 Eglise and Secondary selection of #8 Payne.
The Track-IQ reports are live today for Fri., Feb, 5. They will be available for Aqueduct, Fair Grounds, Gulfstream, Oaklawn, Santa Anita and Tampa Bay Downs. The G3 Southwest Stakes is being held today, Friday, Feb. 6, at Oaklawn after having been postponed last Saturday because of cold temperatures.
